I'm giving vitamin D 3 drops 1.5 ml (macbrite) and iron drops 1.3 ml (tonoferon) fory 9 months old Doctor changed this quantity suddenly from 1ml of vitamin drops and 0.5ml of iron drops Worried about the dosage.

Continue as pediatric doses varu with weight and investigations. If child is gaining weight weight , then supplements need to be given according to that. So nothing to worry

Hello Vitamin D 400IU /day is sufficient for infants .. If your medication contains 1 mL -800IU you must be giving 0.5 mL everyday.. If it is 1 mL 400 IU you should be giving 1 mL daily .. Tonoferon drops 0.4- 0.5ml is sufficient..

Vitamin D 3 should be 400 IU once a day till 1 year of age and Iron should be 4-5mg/kg/ day as tonoferon has 1ml has 25mg..

Hello need to know the chemical composition of both the drops what you r giving as some drops have different composition of iron and vit d in one ml . Then only we can correctly prescribe you
