Vitamin d dose in pregnancy

Asked for Female, 34 Years

I m prescribed 60,000 IU Vit D capsule once a week at 8 weeks pregnancy. Is it safe to take weekly this much dose?

Vit d levels shud be first checked m then medication advised As vit d toxicity is also found So rather than a random prescription Get ur vit f levels checked n take only if insufficiency is found
