Vit d deficiency in pregnancy
Hi my vitamin d level during early pregnancy was 8. So doctor recommended me to take vitamin d 1000iu everyday but now at 11 weeks of pregnancy another doctor I consulted prescribed me to take 60000iu weekly stating that my vit d level is very low. Is it safe to start taking this much high dose now?

Since the high dose is being taken weekly it adds upto the same amount for the dosage taken daily. The medicine is safe in pregnancy and can be taken without worry.
