Vitamin D deficiency
Today I did a report an my Vitamin D has come 20.76 only I need some medicine/supplements to take it up as I have sciatic pain as well Can someone help

Vit d tab 60k once a week for 12 weeks , along with calcium 500 mg twice a day.

It is not as simple just to add a vitamin d. Please find out the normal level from the lab..usually above 50 but it sometimes varies.. Next needs a few blood tests to assess your bone metabolism. Please consult a Rheumatologist for assessment.

Hello Practo User, Your vitamin d levels are not that bad. And your sciatic pain is not related to vitamin D deficiency. Don't sit for long time. Take frequent breaks. Take care of your back,to avoid sciatic pain.. Don't overemphasize on vitamin D ,as many family doctors do nowadays.
Next Steps
Your pain will not come down by taking vitamin D...but by taking care of your back it will be alright.

You can start with vit d supplement. Back pain may be due to lower back muscle spasm.. it may be sometimes associated with vit d deficiency
Next Steps
Pls start with hot fomentation,  analgesic tablet if pain is more. you can start with vod d supplement in the dose of 60000 U once a week for 8 weeks..

Avoid heavy work,  avoid sitting down,  avoid Indian toilet
