Hi
Did you check your blood pressure anytime recently as you are complaining of numbness and burning sensation in foot and hands...
So kindly check that also ..with doctor for bp levels..
Sometimes even with pre-diabetes or diabetes condition one can have or develop numbness and burning in foot and hands also ...that also could be the another reason...
With diet, stress management and physical activities you can get your sugar levels to control..
Start following diabetic diet along with workouts and check your sugar levels again..if any doubt or raised concern..
You can check GTT also for accurate results or HBA1c once in three months without fail or go for fbs or ppbs also once in every two weeks...for watching diabetes
Please consult or check with doctor for the mentioned blood tests.. along with vitamin B12...
Next Steps
Regular follow up with doctor for taking meds with respect to vitamin B12, pre-diabetes etc...issue
Health Tips
have qualitative home cooked foods in small frequent meals with limited portion sizes, high fiber from diet, bran, always to consume low gi foods, complex carbs, moderate plant proteins, legumes, sprouts, fermented foods, probiotic and prebiotic foods, low fat dairy, omega 3 and 6 rich foods, enough water intake per day around 2 to 3 litres, if non veg consume eggs, chicken soups, sea fish like salmon and macarel, lean meats for vitamin B12 ..
and to follow a strict diabetic diet such as low GI foods, complex carbs, seasonal fruits and vegetables , except some fruits which are high in fructose such as mangoes, chikoo or sapota, bananas andvother fruits are very sweet to taste...avoid all those.. abd also to avoid roots and tuber vegetables completely..
Your HbA1C is a cause of concern and you need to do gud exercise and take proper diet to reduce the figure to normal levels.
For B12 you must take good amount of milk and milk products in your food .If you are a non vegetarian, you must include eggs /fish/ chicken in your daily diet.
Next Steps
A lot of drugs/medications hamper B12 absorption,so ask your physician if that is the case.
