Vitamin B12 levels elevated
Good day,
Kindly note that my daughter aged 9 yrs wght 23 kg was having cough ,cold and fever intermittently from last 2 months .I did her blood tests this time and in reports...her CBC and urine was Okie but Vitamin D levels are down to 6 and B12 levels are elevated 1056.On consulting the doctor he advised that elevated B12 levels are not an issue and gave Calcium and D3 supplements.Kindly advise whether elevated B12 levels are normal?Thanks

I think low vit D levels are responsible for ailments like cold and flu,when your body runs low on vitamin D it affects your immunity.But vitamin B12 levels are also elevated we should not neglect that and we should do further investigations like LFT and FBS.
