Viral fever
My husband (31) got fever day before yesterday in night. Yesterday whole day the fever was 102 and 104 (once in afternoon). Went hospital and got drips and cbc and crp done. Platelet was 1.52 Lakhs. Rest all report data in normal range. Doctor told it looks viral. Today morning the temperature was in 99 range. Now from 6 in evening it's increased to 100. Is this increase and decrease expected in viral fever? How long we can monitor this at home and when yo go hospital?

Keep checking temperature at 3 hrly interval. Ask him to drink plenty of water. Iron rich diet can increase platelet count.
Next Steps
As long as temperature is less than 100.4 F and no other symptoms, he can be managed at home.
