Viral/bacterial stomach infection med?
I am feverish internally, flu like, measured temp normal. Body temp becomes hot for few minutes then goes normal, but continues to not feeling well for past 7 days. No cold, cough. Burning eyes Not red or teary.  Stomach heaviness. Mild cramps.  Malaise. No diarrhea. No vomit.  I m Able to eat. *Had street food once before this and also could be mosquito bites. *Typhoid test is normal. Cbc is normal with neutrophils 71. USG shows reactive mesenteric lymphadenopathy, other normal. No dengue malaria test done.  I don't know if it's viral or bacterial.  Is there anything in Ayurveda for viral infection and also for bacterial infection, for stomach n fever ??   (no diarrhea or vomit, firm stool, normal urine, on &off less than 100 feverish) 🙏🏻

our symptoms—7 days of malaise/feverishness, intermittent warmth, burning eyes, mild abdominal cramps/heaviness and a reactive mesenteric lymph-node enlargement—can occur with a viral infection, including a gastrointestinal viral illness. However, because you have had possible mosquito exposure and persistent systemic symptoms, dengue should not be ruled out solely because the CBC is currently normal. Dengue can present with headache/eye pain, body aches, nausea and fatigue, and symptoms can overlap considerably with other viral illnesses. A normal Typhoid test also does not establish that the illness is viral, and the ultrasound finding of reactive mesenteric nodes is nonspecific. At this stage, I would avoid empirically treating it as either a bacterial or viral infection without a clearer clinical diagnosis.
Next Steps
your evaluation and diagnosis has not been made till now. Ayurvedic treatment should be selected according to the clinical diagnosis and the patient's current condition. I would particularly avoid starting several herbal preparations on your own while the cause of the feverish illness remains uncertain. Health Tips
For now, take adequate fluids, light easily digestible meals and sufficient rest. If you actually develop fever, paracetamol is generally preferred for fever/pain when appropriate; avoid aspirin or ibuprofen until dengue has been excluded, because NSAIDs can increase bleeding risk in dengue. In your situation, I would first rule out dengue/malaria and assess the abdominal symptoms rather than simply starting an “anti-viral” or “anti-bacterial” Ayurvedic medicine. Thank you

“Since you have been unwell for 7 days with feverishness, burning eyes and abdominal symptoms, it is difficult to confirm whether this is viral or bacterial without further evaluation. Your normal CBC and typhoid test are reassuring, but because of possible mosquito exposure, dengue/malaria testing should be considered as advised by your physician. Dengue testing also depends on the day of illness. Ayurvedic medicines should not be started blindly as ‘antiviral’ or ‘antibacterial’ treatment until the cause is clearer. Please consult me with your reports so treatment can be planned safely. Seek urgent care if you develop persistent high fever, severe abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, bleeding, marked weakness or worsening symptoms.”
