For posture correction we need to strengthen the muscles. Curvature of of neck bones must be restored.
Avoid sudden movement. You can avoid pillow for posture correction.
Manual therapy by a Physiotherapist is also a great option for you.

I would suggest you to make a balance in between neck bending and extension activity to avoid symptoms and check for neck posture.
Go for gaze exercises it will be helpful but I suggest to go for a physio consult because you need supervision.
