Please don't try to start or stop your medications without medical supervision. Consult your psychiatrist on how to taper and stop it.

Hi thank you for posting the question. I can see that you are only 20 years old and appropriately worried about taking medication long term. Your question gives answer on two fronts. 1. Medication like paxidep control the symptoms and may not be a cure. In my practice I combine psychological therapy with medication. Once you learn skills to overcome anxiety paxidep can be stopped slowly.
Next Steps
consult a clinical psychologist and learn skills e.g. cognitive behavioural therapy. Go for regular walking, healthy diet and sleep well. don't stop medication abruptly.
Health Tips
focus on relaxation and physical fitness, continue treatment and get psychological therapy

I could understand your problem well. Pls don't be worried. In a structured way, if we taper down doses and stop the medicines , it would be more beneficial. Also , some relaxation exercises like JPMR would take charge of keeping your anxiety down than using the medications for long term. But pls never do those dose changes or never stop any medication yourself without any consultation
Next Steps
it's always good to consult a professional. Pls consult a psychiatrist
