My son is 2.5 years old. On 2023 we have two dose of INFLUVAC flu vaccine for my Son . Now doctor advised us to take flu vaccine for this year. Please advise we will give Same brand INFLUVAC vaccine Or another flu vaccine brands.

Hi parent, u can give either brand like Influvac tetra or fluarix tetra...it would be better u continue with the same brand but if not available u can get the other one also. Make sure it is of 2025 strain only. Rest for further queries u can contact me.
Usually influenza virus has a process of transformation every year with its mechanism of genetic drifts and genetic shifts….Hence there is a change of strain every year.
You don’t have to necessarily give same brand every year…
Brand can be changed when previous brand is not available
However it’s highly important to get “LICENCED FLU VACCINE” that protects your child from current strain every year
