Hi,
My son is 2 + years old. The doctor has given typbar TCV and influvac when he was 6 months old. Today the Doctor has given Typhi BEV and Vaxi flu. Is there any reason to worry? Two different Brand Vaccines for the same thing.

Using a different brand of the same vaccine is completely safe and effective
Vaccine brands may vary due to supply or updates in formulations, but all approved vaccines go through strict safety and quality checks. The most important thing is that your child is up to date with the right vaccines at the right time

Hello
There is no need to worry. Tybar TCV and Typhi BEV are different brands of Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine, and Influvac and VaxiFlu are different brands of the Influenza vaccine. It is completely safe to receive vaccines from different brands, as long as they are from licensed, approved manufacturers.
Both sets of vaccines serve the same purpose — to protect your child against typhoid and seasonal flu. The brand used may vary based on availability or physician preference, but the immunity developed will be effective.
Next Steps
Continue the recommended vaccination schedule
Monitor for minor side effects like fever or injection site pain
Reach out if you observe any unusual symptoms
Health Tips
Keep a record of all vaccine names and dates for future reference
Annual influenza vaccine is recommended each year for children
