Hello At 6 months, babies have immature immune systems. Contaminated spoons, bowls, or bottles can lead to diarrhea, vomiting, and infections. All feeding items: spoons, bowls, cups, sippers, and baby food containers.
Next Steps
Boiling Method (Simple & Effective): Wash utensils with soap and clean water first. Place them in boiling water for 5–10 minutes. Use clean tongs to remove and air-dry on a clean surface. Sterilize all feeding utensils at least once a day. Wash thoroughly after each use with soap and water. Avoid: Using the same utensils as adults, and Feeding with unclean hands or cloths.
Health Tips
Store sterilized items in a clean, covered container. Always wash hands before feeding. Prefer small, easy-to-clean bowls and spoons dedicated only to the baby.
