Formula consumption after starting solid
Hi doctor, My baby is 6 and a half months old. What is the ideal range of formula milk consumption after starting solid food?  I'm giving him solids 3-4 times a day. His weight is 9.8 kg. Up to 400 ml per day is fine ? Please suggest

9.8 kg at this age is more than normal. Should reduce high calorie food if being given now.
Next Steps
100 to 120ml per kg per day is the requirement of formula at this age divided into 4 to 5 feeds. Will decrease as food quantity increases

Hello! formula milk can be given on demand basis, as approximately 4-5feeds per day will do.

After 6 months the breast milk need will decreases so no need of formula milk... Just continue semi solid food 4-5 times a day... about 1/4 th Bowl... Start animal milk after 1 yr of age... Don't add sugar to semi-solid even salt also... Natural sweet salt is enough
