Use of belt after c section delivery
Hello, I am new mother, delivered baby by c section method 67 days back.please suggest me if I can use a belt to reduce belly fat and get a toned body and from when I can start excercise.

Belt will not help you to reduce belly fat, it will be useful for you in initial days until you start working on your core... So I suggest you to start with some basic core exercises that will help you to strengthen your Abdominal muscles and these core exercises progression will help you to reduce your weight..

Also Start Some Abdominal Muscles Strengthening Exercises Gradually .. It Will Together Help You to Get in Shape Early .. Wear it for Two Hours, Thrice in a Day Then Remove it .. So That Your Muscles Don't Get Weak .. As Every Other Physio is Worried About This Thing. But There is Always A Right Way of Doing A New Thing .. Try A Glass of Warm Water With Lemon and Honey in The Morning to Reduce Fat.

Don't use any belt for reducing belly fat. It never helps. Instead start with the core stability exercises and then gradually progressing them. A Physiotherapist would be of great help for the same.

In addition to the other answers, I would recommend that you work and sit in an ergonomic manner such that you are more upright especially while feeding the baby. Your exercises will be complimented with appropriate lifestyle modifications.

Abdominal belt will not help you to reduce your belly fat. You have to consult with your Gynaecologist to know whether your wound got healed completely. You can get toned body and flat belly only with exercise. You need to start the exercise after three months with proper guidance. You need to consult a Physiotherapist to learn the exercises either in person or through video call.

Hi you can use abdominal belt , no problem in using at this stage post delivery , just keep a check a on ur stitches site , though u r stitches are already removed . you can start ur basic exercises like walking but not for long duration, better visit ur nearby physiotherapist for proper guidance and supervision for post natal exercises.

As it had been already 2 months, you just start with starts with the exercises for strengthening up your musculature to get the best possible relief and a belt for weight reduction would not be a good option to choose for as it’s a temporary component and one should work for permanency if treatment.

Hi, As already mentioned you have to have good healing of the c section. Also it is important to know if you have had any seperation of the rectus muscle.... However 3 months time after is a good period to start with exercises. With regard to using a belt it is not always recommended and especially not for trimming..... You need exercises and this could be taught by a physiotherapist.

Do not use belt. You can start exercising after three months. You can reduce your belly fat with the exercises also .but after three months.
