Urine infection
From 3 months I have been suffering from a urine infection I have been constantly taking treatments last I have been treated with amikacin injection that time bacteria was e coli my ultrasound report is normal today my reports came and it's showing gram -ve cocci now doctor advised me to take injection which is hard and I am confused what should I do what are the side effects please guide thanku here are my attached reports

Your bacteria is sensitive to the strongest antibiotics. Before recommending this medicine I would like to go through your symptoms and clinical examination. There is no point in exposing you to the strongest antibiotics when you have mild symptoms.

As far as it comes to urinary tract infection hygiene plays a very important role. Avoid using public toilets unless very necessary..

.as u have already been treated and you don't have any symptoms like burning sensation, decreased urination or pain during urination, you don't have to take anymore medication and follow strict hygiene and drink lots of water

Your report suggest a Multi drug resistant E coli Probably colonised in your body As long as you are asymptomatic, u may not require to treat it. Kindly consult a infectious disease specialist for clarification
