Urine bacterial infection
I have been experiencing a urinary tract infection for the past two years. Initially, it consistently showed positive results for bacteria in urine routine tests and urine culture, indicating the presence of bacteria. However, lately, only 1 out of 10 tests show positive results in urine culture and urine routine. Despite this, I still have yellow urine and experience a burning sensation while urinating. I have followed my urologist's advice to provide initial and midstream urine samples, but the issue persists. I am considering trying cranberry juice extract tablets. Can it cure a urinary tract infection, or are it only effective for prevention?"
