Hi ,
Iam 45 yr old ,male.
I have swelling at my left ankle for few years but no pain.It started when I got slipped from treadmill .My MRI all is fine but Uric Acid seems to be high.
My question is what should be normal uric acid range at my age?

3.5 to 7.2 mg/dL is the normal uric acid range for adults. The swelling may be linked to a condition called Gout (increased uric acid levels). A swelling after slipping from a treadmill does not persist for so many years after the injury. There could be some other cause for the swelling.
