Upper arms pain
My father age 48 having pain in his both upper arms. The pain started above 3 months ago, gradually it is increasing. Constructed doctor and have many test like uric acid, thyroid, kidney, x-ray of both the arms but all reports were normal. He is taking medicine prescribed by doctors but nothing is working.We don't know what to do now, can any help what to do next?

Hello have you done MRI of the neck to see if a disk is pinching nerves

This can be muscle pains of his shoulder and neck. Lockdown related domestic work, mobile use and his profession for all these years can lead to the same. Working in an ergonomic manner such that shoulder remains relaxed and then improving the strength of shoulder muscles.

This could be cervical radiculopathy , needs a clinical examination.

If it is associated with tingling and numbness than it may be due to cervical disc, which can be diagnosed with cervical spine MRI, can be treated with simple cervical epidural, if other conservative treatments tried and pt not having major motor or sensory deficit
