Unienzyme in 3rd trimester
Hi Doc, my sis is in 33+ weeks of pregnancy and was having sever gar bloating and had taken 1 unienzyme tablet without checking composition. Now we are scared after seeing papain in it. Please suggest what to do. Will it harm the baby or sister.

Papain in Unienzyme is not in such a huge amount that it should disturb her pregnancy. Secondly, if you all are scared then you should forget about Unienzyme. Mental peace for a pregnant woman is more important than anything else.

No..it won't..u can consult if she is having recurrent digestive problems..as such..it's always better to take medicine after consultation...
