Under tongue redness and sides burning
4 days back I ate strawberries and my tongue became red and started burning since then everytime I would eat something it causes me discomfort . I am attaching a picture , I suffer from health anxiety , please tell me what this is and help me. Is this an ulcer or what?

Hi ! It seems like some sort if an allergic reaction . Please consult your dentist if it doesn’t go away . Some oral and topical medications might help you get over with it within a day or two .

Always wash and let strawberries sit in warm salt water for atleast 3-4 mins before you consume it next time.

This a second similar case I am coming across with redness in oral cavity after consuming starwberries. It could be due to some allergic response to the eatable. If the burning is severe you should visit a dentist. you may be prescribed with some topical ointment.

Hi, From the picture shared, the tongue looks normal. But it is better to get a clinical evaluation by a dentist. This could be an allergic reaction. There is nothing to worry. It will subside and heal in a few days. Visit the dentist immediately.
