Hi sir It seems like you have mild ulceration in the hard palate and tongue region ( based on image). Consistent burning sensation needs to be addressed sir. Please visit the nearby dentist and he/she will examine your oral cavity. For symptomatic relief i will suggest 1) Mucopain gel 2 times daily 2) Tab zincovit 0-0-1 for 5 days. But you need to visit the dentist as early as possible.
Next Steps
Visit the nearby dentist
Avoid hot and spicy foods
Burning of the tongue and palate for 45 days, especially when it is present throughout the day and the palate feels rough/sandpaper-like, needs an in-person oral examination rather than just empirical medication. Possible causes include irritation/trauma, fungal infection, reaction to toothpaste or mouthwash, nutritional deficiencies, dry mouth, or a burning-mouth-type condition. Persistent burning symptoms are evaluated by an oral medicine specialist when the dental examination does not identify a clear cause.
Because this has persisted for more than a month, I would not assume it is simply a minor ulcer. A persistent oral lesion or unexplained mucosal change should be examined.
Next Steps
* Please visit a dentist/oral medicine specialist for a complete examination of the tongue, palate and rest of the mouth.
* The dentist should check for red/white patches, ulcers, fungal infection, trauma from teeth, dry mouth and any local irritants.
* Depending on the examination, blood tests such as CBC, iron/ferritin, vitamin B12/folate, blood glucose and thyroid tests may be considered.
* If you recently changed toothpaste, mouthwash or other oral products, mention this to the dentist. Some ingredients/flavouring agents can cause oral irritation or contact reactions.
* Do not start antibiotics or antifungal medicines without examination, because treatment depends on the actual cause.
Health Tips
* Temporarily avoid spicy, acidic, very hot and crunchy foods.
* Avoid alcohol-containing mouthwashes and tobacco.
* Use a soft toothbrush and brush gently.
* Drink plenty of water and keep the mouth moist.
* If your toothpaste seems to worsen the burning, you can temporarily switch to a mild, SLS-free, flavour-free toothpaste.
* Avoid repeatedly touching or scraping the painful areas.
