-When eating outside food, whether at restaurants or functions, people often face digestive issues and experience symptoms like acidity, bloating, and reflux. -As compared to home-cooked meals, food in catering services is prepared in bulk, which often contains more oil (sometimes re-used), cream for gravies, extra spices and salt for better taste and convenience. -Every individual has different digestive capacities and hence can have different reactions based on the food consumed. Here are some tips to help you improve digestion: -Consume fennel / ajwain tea (1tsp fennel or ajwain in 150ml water), in the morning or post all your meals as it helps with digestion. You can also have roasted fennel / ajwain post your meals as well. -Make sure you consume at least one source of probiotic (curd, buttermilk or yogurt) as it helps with maintaining good gut bacteria and digestion. -While eating always make sure to be mindful of your choices and proportions to help avoid such symptoms.

Thanks for explaining your condition, In general it can happen due to the excess intake of spicy and fatty food. As I have observed in your case that in the functions like weddings we used to overeating food and most of the food we eat is usually fatty and spicy, which can cause gastritis ( basically acid and gas formation), which can irritate the stomach lining and presence of gastric juices in the vomiting causes the mouth lining irritation. So for the long term solution, you have to explain the case in detail additionally if it is happening very frequently so you should consult the doctor first. Additionally, you can do some modifications in your daily routine, which are as follows: Avoid overeating Avoid spicy and fatty food Don't lie down after having food Add more alkaline foods in your daily diet Drink enough water Add gut friendly food or diet ( you can book a consultation for detailed plan) Do Regular walking or any physical activity Follow a routine for regular meals Avoid heavy meal at one time, choose small and frequent meals.

Healthy morning You should consult a doctor, specifically a gastroenterologist promptly to determine the cause and receive appropriate long term solutions A doctor will create a specific treatment plan based on the diagnosis, which may include medication or medical nutrition therapy Eat small , frequent meals Stay hydrated Modify your diet: Focus on bland, low fat and easily digestible foods ( bananas, plain rice ,applesauce, toast , crackers) Avoid foods that trigger symptoms, such as spicy , greasy , fried , overly sweet and high fiber foods . Limit caffeine and alcohol, as they can irritate the stomach lining Adjust eating habits: Eat slowly and chew your food well Remain upright for at least 30-60 minutes after eating to aid digestion and prevent acid reflux Avoid eating close to bedtime Manage stress and rest : Anxiety and stress can worsen digestive issues due to the gut brain connection. Hello, Thank you for explaining your concern in detail. From your description, it appears that your digestion gets disturbed mainly during periods of irregular eating, overeating, frequent food variety, and social functions—which is quite common, especially during winters and long events. Morning nausea or vomiting can occur when the digestive system is overloaded with heavy, rich, or unfamiliar foods. The good news is that with proper dietary structure and routine, this can be managed effectively in the long term. General Dietary Guidelines for Better Digestion: • Eat simple, home-cooked meals most of the time; avoid mixing too many food varieties in one meal • Maintain fixed meal timings and avoid long gaps between meals • Control portion sizes, especially during functions and gatherings • Prefer light, warm, and freshly prepared foods, particularly in winter • Limit very spicy, oily, fried, and excessively sweet foods • Avoid overeating at night; keep dinner light and early • Chew food slowly and avoid eating in a hurry • Stay well-hydrated, but avoid drinking large amounts of water immediately before or after meals During Social Events or Travel: • Choose one or two food items instead of tasting everything • Avoid repeated snacking late at night • Keep meals lighter the next day to allow digestion to settle These are general guidelines. For a long-term and effective solution, it is important to personalize the diet based on your routine, food tolerance, health history, and lifestyle.
