Wandering mind needs to be evaluated why it is so. The memory capacity varies from people to people and some need to study 10 times to remember. They cannot be changed . Good luck
Hi.. usually no medicines to do that.. some of the tips that can help are
Identifying the best environment to concentrate , scheduling study time, minimising distractions like putting phone in silent mode, Writing a to do list, taking frequent breaks.. and repetition.
Unfortunately there is no such medication that will completely ensure that you remember everything at once and never forget. If that were to be the case all would have secured first rank.
However there are techniques to improve attention and concentration.
1. Closing eyes and fixing gaze between eyebrows, fixing concentration on the nostrils
2. Meditation
3. Slowly breathing in and out
4. Writing paragraphs regularly
5. Listening to calm relaxing music
6. Quiet distraction less atmosphere
Can help one to increase focus and concentration
It’s not possible to read once and never forget
Anyone who is academically good, puts in lots of effort and time is revision
No medication to simply increase focus
If there are other associated symptoms of hyperactivity and impulsivity, or depressive/ anxiety issues - do check with a psychiatrist to arrive at a diagnosis
