Unable to conceive due to no penetration
My husband and I are trying to conceive, but we have been unable to have penetrative vaginal intercourse. We are able to have sexual intimacy, but penetration has not been possible. I have already consulted a gynaecologist and was examined; I was told that I do not have vaginismus. I would like to understand what could be causing the difficulty with penetration and which type of doctor or treatment would be appropriate. We would also like advice on our options for conceiving if we continue to have difficulty with penetration.

Try being well lubricated
You should meet a doctor in person to help you understand why you are having difficulty in penetration if you do not have vaginismus
You can use a local anaesthetic gel and try with dilators

Since vaginismus has already been ruled out, difficulty with penetration can still come from other physical causes or from anxiety around intercourse itself. Both are treatable, but they need a proper evaluation to pinpoint which one is affecting you.
