Hello everyone... Typhoid tested positive... O 160 H 80... doctor gave me Cefixime 200 and Ofloxacin 200 for 20 days but not cured still fever is there now... . . . i went to the doctor again for fever she stoped previous tablets and gave Azithromycin 500 and Cefpodoxime 200 for 10 days again... . . . i asked for IV antibiotics but she is not listening to me and said no need of IV because u have only mild fever 😞 . . . what should i do? i have mild fever everyday and its already 25 days I'm suffering 😞 should i change doctor or wait ? current symptoms are only fever below 100 F 😞😞 thats my only symptom from the beginning

Widal test is not to diagnose active typhoid.Go for Blood , stool and urine  culture.Other fever profile reports also required to rule out other cause of fever.Antibiotic selected after this will be better.
