Typhoid medication.
Hello. I have been diagnosed with typhoid and im being treated with monocef and dolo i wanted to know if thats enough? Or do i need to add another antibiotics that targets typhoid and if so? Which one?

Monocef is good antibiotic.
It should suffice
But it takes time to recover from typhoid

Yes it's enough but evaluate with your doctor to treat associated condition
Antibiotic for typhoid is Ceftriaxone ( monocef ) and fever treated with Paracetamol, if required add other medications along with by your doctor.

If no response Tab Azithromycin 500 mg twice daily for 5 days can be added.
If no response a fluroquinolone can be added.
