Pcos issue with high prolactin..taking metformin and cabergoline..
Tsh levels have been between 4-5 since last year every time prolactin increases tsh is around 5..do i need levothyroxine is it thyroid causing prolactin to increase?
TSH-5.1,prolactin-65ng
TSH-5,prolactin-82ng
Stopping cabergoline causing prolactin to increase so is this a thyroid issue? I am planning to try for a child...help

TSH less than 5 is normal so you do not require any medication if TSh values are less than 5
There is no correlation between deranged thyroid and prolactin levels
Prolactin levels are also increased in patient with stress exercise should help control stress
Hypothyroidism can cause increase in prolactin levels. Levothyroxine can control' both.
If prolactin is still high you need more investigation. Consult endocrinologist.
