Prolactin very very high 164
I have pcos from past 12 yrs so my cycles are irregular Did my hormone test recently and discovered that my prolactin levels were very high 148 So I re-did the test after 10days and still the value was 164 I have kidney stone of 6mm at present Pls suggest something iam worried

Irregular menses can be due to raised prolactin as well. Such high levels generally indicates pituitary gland pathology. Please do visit Gync or endocrinologist at the earliest.

You need to do an MRI brain to look for microadenoma. Also, wish to know whether you've eyesight issues. Lastly, given that you've renal stones, please check RFT ones, because if in the rare scenario of it being impaired, Prolactin can increase

Firstly prolactin hormone is usually raised in PCOS (now PMOS) but this high level warrants further investigation If you are taking any medicines like domperidone/antipsychotic drugs stop immediately
