Hello Doctor,
I am 29 years old and actively trying to conceive.
My
TSH was 1.26 in February/March, and since then I have been taking Thyroxine 37.5 mcg daily on an empty stomach as advised. My latest TSH is 2.52.
I have been taking the medicine regularly every day, but the timing has varied slightly. Sometimes I take it at 7:00 AM, sometimes 7:30 AM, and on a few days around 8:00–8:30 AM.
Could this variation in timing have caused the increase in my TSH? Should I continue the same 37.5 mcg dose, or does it need to be adjusted since I am trying to conceive?
Thank you.
