With a BMI of 14, focusing on a balanced, calorie-dense diet is key to gaining weight safely and effectively. Include nutrient-rich foods like whole grains, avocados, nuts, seeds, and legumes to increase calorie intake while providing essential nutrients. Opt for small, frequent meals with high-protein options such as Greek yogurt, tofu, and legumes to support muscle growth. Consulting a professional like Dietitian Souvik Chakraborty can help you design a personalized weight gain plan. His expertise in clinical nutrition ensures a gradual, healthy increase in weight that supports your energy and overall health, guiding you toward achieving a healthy BMI of 18.5 and beyond.
