HIe will suggest you to do some natural ways..... 1.EXERCISE: Exercise is the most underutilized antidepressant. When you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphin. These endorphin interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain. Doing exercise with your friends, partner and family members gives you emotional comfort with benefit of Physical Activity. So joining group exercise class is more beneficial. Exercise may also include: Housework, especially sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming, Jogging at a moderate pace, Low-impact Aerobics, Playing tennis, Swimming, Walking etc 2.MEDITATION: Various researches show that Meditation is very helpful in treating depression. It helps in lessening negative thinking, rumination, and lack of focus in depression patients. Meditation for beginners : Sit straight in noise free open area with fresh air and proper sunlight and concentrate on constant point. HEALTHY DIET: Cook says there's evidence that foods with omega-3 fatty acids and folic acids could help ease depression. It includes foods like low fat dairy, walnuts, whole grains, dark chocolate, fresh fruits, green veggies like spinach, carrots etc. Balanced diet with required nutrients is very beneficial . Skipping food is not good for depression patients. So eat regularly. REGULAR-HEALTHY LIFESTYLE: Not only depression patients, but everyone should follow a regular and healthy lifestyle. In fact a person with regular lifestyle is less likely to prone to depression and other stress symptoms. But set a gentle life routine initially otherwise it will affect depression patients negatively. ADEQUATE SLEEP : Depression can make it hard to get enough shut-eye, and too little sleep can make depression worse. What can you do? Start by making some changes to your lifestyle. Go to bed and get up at the same time every day. Try not to nap. Take all the distractions out of your bedroom -- no computer and no TV. In time, you may find your sleep improves. Additionally joining hobby classes, dance or exercise groups may also help, cooking, painting, outing with friends etc is also helpful for depression patients. Depression is just like another health problems and it is completely treatable. But avoiding or postponing proper treatment worsens the depression. Also our society need to change their mindset towards depression patients. Thank You.
