Toothpain from tooth decay
Hi,
I am experiencing moderate level of tooth pain. And I can see a hole in that teeth with some decay. In current situation, I can not visit a dentist. Till I visit the dentist, what medicine should I take to have relief from this pain?

Tab O2 twice daily for 5days after meals
Tab Combiflam twice daily for 5days after meals
Tab Rablet D once daily for 5days before meals
Hexidine mouthwash twice daily for 14 days
Warm saline rinses between meals
Apply Pain out tooth gel of Colgate on affected area or Clove oil on affected area three four times daily for a week.
☆☆☆If patient is alcoholic or has consumed same within 15 days DO NOT take O2 as it has life threatening reaction instead take Augmentin 625 mg

Hello there. I request you not jump in to take an antibiotic course . A simple painkiller like combiflam would do for now.
Just avoid food or drinks which are too hot or too cold so that your pain dosent exacerbate or increase.

If you have toothache two effective options are RC T of tooth or dental extrnPain killers & Antibiotics with Amoxicillin 500 mg TDs with warm saline gargle However some times this will not work in that case you have go to dentists before it goes for space infection there are some dentist hospital based practice will do emergency treatment like RC opening extn

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. If you do not have a history of drug (Tablet or medicines) allergy then Tab Augmentin 625mg twice a day for five days after food once in the morning and once in the night and
Tab diclomol twice a day for three days once in the morning and once in the night after food

Firstly maintain good oral hygiene, avoid food getting stuck in the cavity, do not poke any toothpick or stick into the tooth, avoid sticky & Sweet starchy foods that will cause rapid spread of the cavity.
Until you can get the treatment facility focus on cavity not increasing.

Take painkillers after antacid if history of gastritis is present. Be very careful applying Clove oil as it is very caustic.

Take ketorol DT for pain relief, you can use a cotton pellet socked in clove oil and keep in the cavity if pain increases.
is there any swelling? Any sensitivity to hot and cold?
