Toothache Problem
Antibiotic for Toothache. Feeling sensitivity in teeth. I have a hole in teeth and having problem in the adjacent teeth also. Need antibiotic for temporary relief.

If cavity is there then treatment has to be done. Antibiotic will not give relief

You don’t have to take antibiotics unless there’s severe infection. If there’s pain take Tab Combiflam or Tab ketrol dt 3 times for three days . If pain stops discontinue the tablet . There’s a difference between sensitivity and pain, first make sure what it is because treatment differs for either of the conditions.

If pain killer alone doesn’t give you relief ,then you can take Tab Novamox Lb 500mg 1-1-1 *3 days Along with your painkiller (ketrol dt/ Combiflam)

For now you can take Rx Tab Augmentin 625mg. BD Tab Diclomol BD Tab Pan 40 OD M/w chlorhex 1:1 (normal water:mouthwash) Tab ketorol DT. SOS (in case of severe pain only) Sensi gel to be applied on tooth surface 3 times a day Avoid swallowing and drinking water for at least 15min. once gel is use

Considering no history of medicine allergy, T. augmentin duo 625, 3 times/day.after food 10 tablets. T.metrogyl 400, 3 times/day.after food 10 tablets. T.ultracet/zerodol PT, maximum 3 tablets a day, if pain,after food T. Roles D,once a day, before food,for 4 days T.A to z gold, once a day, after food,10 tablets. If difficulty in opening mouth or chewing or swallowing, these are usually associated with  tooth infection. If feverish, that can be as a secondary  infection from tooth.

gargle forcefully as much as you can afford er every food intake to keep the area cleaned and avoid to get it infected. do not do hot compression /balm/ointment application extra-orally. avoid very hot/cold/hard/sweet/sticky food soft diet do not neglect brushing after meal. hold mouthful of Luke warm salt water in for sometime; you can do it for few times a day, if it's relieving your pain, even partially(if blood pressure is high avoid using salt).

You need to undergo X-ray for further examination. Till than you can continue with your below prescribed medications.
