I got tooth 7 (molar) of lower jaw extracted many years ago. Now too 7 (molar) of upper jaw got decayed and needs to be extracted. The doctor says I need to do cantilever capping of T 5,6,7 on both jaws. Another senior experience doctor recommends only extraction saying capping is an option. My question is do I need capping (Rs.12,000)

Ideally implants work best as your natural teeth are not affected. You have the option of no replacement but it slightly compromises your bite on that side
