It's important to note that consulting a dentist is the best course of action for dental issues. Persistent sensitivity after eating certain foods could be a sign of an underlying dental problem. Since you've had root canal treatments in the past, it's possible that the sensitivity you're experiencing is related to those teeth. Here are a few steps you can take: Make an appointment with your dentist: It's important to have a professional evaluation of your teeth to determine the cause of the ongoing sensitivity. Your dentist will be able to examine your teeth and provide an accurate diagnosis. Use sensitivity toothpaste: Sensodyne toothpaste is specifically designed to help with tooth sensitivity. Consider switching back to it to see if it helps alleviate the sensitivity. However, it's still important to see your dentist for a proper evaluation. Avoid trigger foods: If certain foods, such as the chicken fry you mentioned, seem to trigger sensitivity, try to avoid them until you can see your dentist. This may help prevent further discomfort. Maintain good oral hygiene: Brush your teeth at least twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste. Floss daily to remove any plaque or food particles between your teeth.
