It’s an old injury so there might be formation of abscess ,sometimes healing won’t happen even after root canal treatment done . so visit a dentist and get the X-ray done ,if the lesion is big then go for apicectomy followed by medication(antibiotics and pain killers) there will be chances to save the tooth , So to decide the right treatment u need an X-ray first .

Get xray of tooth. Pus has to be drained. If tooth can be saved, rerct has to be done. Antibiotics along with analgesics has to be done to relieve pain and infection. You can consult through this for prescription of medication and instructions.
