Tooth pain
Again tooth pain for wisdom tooth. On first consultation will the doctor open the way for wisdom tooth to erupt? Or need to do multiple consultations? There is quite a swollen below cheek towards the right side. Any suggestions on clinics or doctors? Below was my last pain, Any Tooth pain for the past 3 days and I noticed yesterday that there is a wisdom tooth(right side) that is erupting up as it's beneath the gums (mouth's muscle). And there is severe pain and due to this, ear pain has started. Experiencing pain and unable to chew food. May I know any remedy to follow up? Need to move to the dentist immediately or need to wait for the tooth to erupt? Any suggestions?

There is no way as of now to create space for impacted molar to erupt. The only treatment is extraction and it will take single visit for painless extraction.

It's important to consult with a dentist or oral surgeon for proper evaluation and treatment recommendations for your specific situation. It sounds like you are experiencing pain and swelling related to an erupting wisdom tooth. Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, often cause discomfort when they are erupting, especially if there is not enough space for them to come in properly. Here are a few things you might consider: Consult a Dentist: If you are experiencing severe pain, swelling, and discomfort, it's a good idea to consult a dentist or an oral surgeon. They can assess the situation, take X-rays if necessary, and determine the best course of action. Depending on the position of the wisdom tooth and the degree of impaction, they will recommend appropriate treatment, which could include managing the pain, addressing any infection or inflammation, and deciding whether extraction is necessary. Pain Management: Over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen (if you can take it) might help alleviate the pain and reduce inflammation. Follow the recommended dosage instructions on the label. Warm Salt Water Rinse: Gently rinsing your mouth with warm salt water a few times a day might help soothe the area and reduce irritation. Soft Diet: Stick to a soft diet and avoid chewing on the affected side to minimize further irritation. Oral Hygiene: Keep the area clean by gently brushing and flossing. Be careful not to cause further irritation. Follow Professional Advice: It's important not to try to "force" the wisdom tooth to erupt on your own. Attempting to do so might lead to more pain, infection, or other complications. As for finding a dentist or oral surgeon, you can ask for recommendations from friends, family, or your regular dentist. Online reviews and local directories might also help you find a reputable dental professional. Remember, only a dentist or oral surgeon can provide you with a proper diagnosis and treatment plan based on your specific situation. If you're experiencing severe pain, swelling, or other concerning symptoms, it's best to seek professional care as soon as possible.

Hi, Please visit a dentist at the earliest. You need to get an X-ray OPG to know the position of the erupting wisdom tooth/teeth.

Get in touch with a dentist. If you have swelling and the condition is recurrent you may require an extraction. Get an XRay done. Your X ray will tell you the exact status of your tooth like the bone coverage over it, it’s angulation of eruption, whether or not it’s impacted etc So you’ll get a fair idea if your tooth is likely to erupt or get impacted. So, if you want to save your tooth or avoid extraction you’ll know which way to go!
Next Steps
Start a course of anti biotics and analgesics
Health Tips
Warm saline rinses thrice daily
