Tooth extraction
Can other parts like the eyes or ear get affected due to tooth extraction? Is there a risk of that happening? How long does the tooth extraction procedure take? Is it painful? Thank you!

1) no other parts affected by tooth extraction 2) how long tooth extraction procedure goes on depends upon tooth position and condition. If it is normal forceps extraction genrally it takes 10-30 mins. But it may differ. Sometimes it may be longer upto 1 hr In case of surgical removal or trans alveolar extraction it may take upto 1 hr or more 3) generally tooth extraction is done under local anaesthesia,so no pain is there but in case of back side large teeth you may feel pressure during extraction time though which is bearable and no need to worry about
Next Steps
if you are anxious about the procedure you should tell this to your dentist he/she will give you medicines accordingly.
Health Tips
if tooth can be restored by RCT go for it,as RCT is more safe and less strenous. consult with your dentist  regarding this .(though RCT could not be done in every tooth)

No other body part is affected due to tooth removal. Procedure takes few minutes depending upon the condition of the tooth. Not painful as anesthesia is given before the procedure. Post tooth removal pain is taken care of by suitable medicines.

Extracting a tooth will not affect the eyes or ears. Its an old wives tale. Procedure takes 5 to 10 minutes if it's a normal tooth. Some impacted teeth and roots may take longer upto an hour. It is not painful if done under local anesthesia.  If you have no problems like diabetes or bleeding disorders or any systemic disease, you neednt worry much. If your a scared or anxious,  talk to your surgeon about your anxiety, theyl be able to help you with that too
