Tooth & Ear ache
I'm due for the root canal next month of my last molar tooth in the bottom jaw as it has formed a cavity. However it has never pained me. Recently I went for a trip where for 2 days I had a headache and I was told by a few friends that I may have a problem of Sinus as I was snoring too. (I may have sinusitis as I snore, easily get dust allergy and quickly catch cold) The problem is I have a pain in my ear and also in my tooth which is close to the ear and I'm not able to understand the reason.

Pain etiology may be due to a number of reasons. The pain may be referred to adjoining structures of head and neck and may be a localized pain. Nevertheless the postponement of a pathological problem related to the pain is incorrect in strict terms. As it may aggravate and over the period of time may complicate too.

Hello dear, Toothache can cause referred pain in ear ,head and neck region also. Your ear pain will subside after root canal treatment. If your appointment is in next month. For now you can take a antibiotic course with analgesic to relieve pain. If ear pain persist even after rct done then consult ENT doctor.

Air pressure changes bring about toothache. If you have a deep cavity, it is advised that you get a Root canal treatment soon. Also consult an ENT to rule out any other problem.
