Hello...
Brush twice daily with floridated toothpaste..
Use mouthwash(chlorhexidine)..
Eat more of fibrous foods..
Avoid sweet sticky sugars..
Have dental checkup every 6 months...
Get all cavities filled soon
Most Important thing to prevent cavities Is to Limit No. Of Intakes Per Day
An Intake is anything apart from water taken at one go
For eg .. you have 6 cups of coffee / tea during the day then if you have all 6 in one go then that is considered to be 1 intake but if you have 1 after the other with intervals during the day they will be 6 different intakes
So 6 different times carbohydrates were broken down and acid was produced which increases your chances to get cavities
Arnd 8 to 9 intakes per day are acceptable
Different people have varying tendency to get dental decay so your dentist is ideal advisor to help you suggest ideal number of intakes suitable for you
