Usually very hard food like sugarcane and chicken bones should be eaten from front teeth,,and a good oral hygiene like brushing after each meal along with flossing should keep the margins of the crowns free from food lodgement,,and from back teeth you can almost eat anything..Avoid chewing gums.

After root canal and capping  you eat anything in posterior teeth but in front(anterior) teeth you not pull action like sugarcane/ fruits/ nonveg flash etc.
Health Tips
warm saline rinses is the success of key after any meal. Because after meal, food particles deposited at the margins of cap will be flushed by rinsing action  and flosing.
