hello, visit the dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done. if there is infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated. if the filling is high, you need to get the high points reduced.

After filling if pain persist you need to get your radiograph (X-ray) to evaluate the condition of the tooth. If the decay is involving the pulp then a Root Canal is indicated.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist and get an X ray for the same tooth.
Health Tips
X ray is a must to plan the treatment and for correct diagnosis

Hi Sir , tooth pain after filling indicates cavity was deep , when cavity is deep reaching the nerve supply of the teeth , just packing with normal filling method might create a pressure inside the tooth and give you the pain , may need X-ray to diagnose and most probably need a root canal therapy , Dr.Venkat VDENTIS DENTAL CARE , Hyderabad
