Reasons for sensitivity are many:- 1- Gums problem, 2- There could be aCavity, 3- Cracked tooth , 4- Bruxism, 5- You may be consuming too much of acidic foods. So for the treatment its better to consult the doctor directly for proper guidance because different problems have different line of treatment.

HI, Toothpaste for this sensation are many in the market. some names are SENSODYNE, VANTEJ, THERMOSEAL-SF, ETC. This condition is called as tooth sensitivity. This can be due to cavity in the tooth. You should visit a dentist to get the cavity filled.

Good Evening. While sensitivity is usually caused due to Dentin exposure due to tooth wear or recession of gums etc. However if your sensitivity is confined to a particular tooth, and especially considering you feel sensitivity to hot food or drinks points towards a tooth pulp ( nerve) cause to your sensitivity, usually brought on by decayed tooth.
Next Steps
Instead of just merely using some desensitising toothpaste, I would recommend you see your dentist as he'll be able to see a probable cause and recommend treatment accordingly.

Hello, for sensitive teeth you can use any sensitive tooth paste available in market. visit a dentist and get it checked. if there is a cavity get it filled.

Hi,Please visit a dentist who will find out cause for sensitivity & treat.The sensitivity maybe because of cavity problem ,wrong brushing or gum problem.Meanwhile you can use a mouthwash for reducing sensitivity.

Hi U can use any sensitive toothpaste which is available .. and apply the toothpaste to those teeth which has problem and rinse after 10 mins. Do it regularly. And if the problem is not solved then plz meet a dentist.

Sensitivity of the tooth is coz of cavity or attrition,unless n until the cause of the sensitivity is diagnosed it is not feasible to use sensitive tooth paste.do consult a dentist for further evaluation n treatment plan.regards
