Tootache problem
I am having severe toothache on my upper left first molar for the last 3 days. I have consulted a dentist who also did an X ray but could not understand the problem instead gave me pain killer. The pain is recurring after the effect of the medicine seizes. I have attached herewith the x-ray of my teeth. Please help.

Hi sir.... The OPG you provided does not give detailed information of the concerned tooth(upper left first molar) To get the precise information you need to take IOPA of the concerned tooth.... To get 3D image, CBCT can be done which will provide more clear information  than IOPA which is a 2 D image Clinical examination of the left upper molar is necessary to find the cause.... If you have any carious lesion medication alone doesnot provide relief ...you need to do Filling ...

Hello. Sorry to know that you are still in pain. I do see some changes with respect to the tip of the root in relation to the upper left first molar. The x ray that u have provided is an opg and they are not very precise x ray to identify smaller issues. I would recommend u to provide me an iopa. I would also need to see clinically if there are any cracks on ur tooth that could be aggravating the pain. If we still are unsure, I will subject you to a CBCT which is a 3D scan of that tooth( only if required). For the time being pain meds should help you out(hifenac-p, thrice daily after food).please feel free to visit me at my facility for a consultation.
