Cavity in Upper molar teeth.
My upper molar teeth cavity was filled 2.5 years ago ,now it was dislodged 3days ago. I have visited to dentist for refilling but after seeing my teeth x-ray,he told its near to expose nerves endings and suggested to do RCT. Though I am not feeling any sensitivity or pain in my teeth. Shall l go with RCT or take second opinion from any endodontist. Please suggest.

I'm not really able to draw my diagnosis as the brightness of the radiograph is tooo much . As my collegue suggested you Root canal treatment , i believe the caries is really extenting to pulp tissue. please help me with a contrast xray copy . The concept of near exposure is bacteria can actually invade the pulp tissue even before the obvious decalfication near the pulp . thank you

You can go for a treatment called pulp capping where we place calcium cement on the deep cavity surface and fill the cavity with temporary cementation. It will be wait and watch if there is no pain after 15-20 days you can go for permanent filling if there are symptoms you will have to go for root canal

Yes, go for RCT. Pain is not there as the pulp of the tooth might have been dead but if you leave it as it is there is chances for bone resorption so better go for RCT.
