Tmj problem
I had a tmj attack last month. Can a dentist align my teeth again? I read it gets normal by itself, but it's not in my case, and I hear clicking sound everytime i open my mouth wide.

Persistent clicking can be the first sign of progressive temporomandibular joint disease... occlusion shud b assessed and parafunctional habits like nail-biting and a lot of stress shud be avoided...avoid too much mouth opening...consult a maxillofacial surgeon...a tmj arthrocentesis in the early stages can help and stop progression to a painful joint

Hello. Very difficult to say without proper evaluation whether it will self correct. Clicking can be indicative of TMJ discrepancy. Sometimes it can be because of muscles associated with joint. Get thorough evaluation done at the earliest. Thanx
