I am having severe tmj issue going on by any chance tmj can cause swollen eyelid and temple pain as I got mild swelling in upper eyelid area right side and that while jaw and ear is affected with tmj

Tmj disfunction is really so painful For this you can apply hot and then cold pack once daily around the tmj Avoid wide mouth opening

It could be due to tenderness of temporalis muscle which could be an outcome of tmj disorder. A dentist will diagnose the type of disc disorder , if any and provide you a treatment plan which may include occlusal splints to provide immediate relief.
