Your dentist would clinically examine you. Radiographs would prescribed. Depending on what your problem is, you will be treated. Sequence depends on the diagnosis

First comes d diagnosis . Wat type of tmj disorder is ?? Wheter its skeletal or disc involvement is there or dislocation of condyle or bruxism .
