Tinnitus both ears, MRI found MV loops.
Having tinnitus since 2014. 2 weeks ago tinnitus increased in left ear. ENT asked to have MRI brain and auditory canal. Please tell me if below MRI info is normal: "7th, 8th bilateral complexes are seen surrounded by vascular loops. AICA appears to be forming into a loop both sides and entering into internal auditory meatus, reaching half of meatal length. More prominent on left, as AICA is in contact with the posterior margin of left 8th nerve at the region of nerve's origin from the pons."

Hello.the relationship between vascular loop on 8th nerve and tinnitus is not clear. It may or may not be related .have an Audiogram tested for Associated hearing loss .start with medicines like Piracetam..if not controlled u may take Neurosurgery opinion later in case the vascular loop needs attention
